This huge and magnificent work was created for the Dover train station. Many people depicted in the painting are notable New Jerseyans such as Thomas Edison, Buzz Aldrin, Mary Higgins Clark, Paul Robeson, Yogi Berra, etc. They're all in a photorealistic setting of the Dover station as it looked on Sept 8th, 1951. Steam and diesel engines ran the Lackawanna line from Hoboken to Scranton and Buffalo.
